Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Jabeco is in early access. This document is a working draft — accurate to how the site and product operate today — and will be reviewed and finalized ahead of general availability. Questions in the meantime: matt@jabeco.app.

These Terms govern your use of jabeco.app and the Jabeco product.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using jabeco.app or the Jabeco product — including requesting early access as a Founding Design Partner — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or product.

2. What Jabeco is, today and going forward

Jabeco is an AI-powered product roadmap and backlog management platform. As of this writing, Jabeco is in early access: self-serve signup and billing are not yet open, and the primary way to engage is requesting early access. These Terms apply to that early-access relationship now, and will apply to full product use once self-serve accounts and billing are live.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to use Jabeco — generally, you must be at least the age of legal majority where you live and using Jabeco on behalf of yourself or an organization you're authorized to represent.

4. Accounts and your data

Once accounts are live, you're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You own the roadmap, backlog, and other content you create in Jabeco; we don't claim ownership of it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

5. Payment terms

Jabeco does not have a permanent free tier. Once billing is live, every plan starts with a 30-day trial; a payment method is required up front, and the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel first. Full current pricing is always at jabeco.app/pricing.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Jabeco to violate any law, infringe anyone else's rights, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data, or interfere with the site or product's normal operation (including automated abuse of public forms or endpoints).

7. Intellectual property

Jabeco, its logo, and its software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our brand or code beyond what's needed to use the product as intended.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Jabeco is provided "as is," especially during this early-access period, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We're a small, actively-developed product — expect fast iteration, not enterprise-grade uptime guarantees, at this stage.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jabeco and its founder will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or product.

10. Termination

You can stop using Jabeco at any time. Once accounts exist, we may suspend or terminate access for violating these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

11. Changes to these terms

We'll update this page as the product evolves and update the "Last updated" date when we do. Material changes will be communicated to anyone with an active account.

12. Governing law

These Terms will be governed by the law applicable to where Jabeco is legally operated from, which will be specified here once the company's formal legal structure is finalized. If you have questions about this in the meantime, contact us.
