Privacy Policy

Today, before self-serve signup is open, the only personal information Jabeco collects is what you give us directly: your email address, and optionally your name, when you request early access as a Founding Design Partner or contact us directly.

Once accounts and billing are live, this will expand to include: account information (email, name, workspace details you create), the product data you enter (roadmaps, backlog items, and similar content you create while using Jabeco), and payment information — which is processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe); Jabeco does not store your full card details. We'll also collect basic usage data (e.g. which features are used) once analytics is enabled, to understand what's working and what isn't.

To respond to you directly (e.g. following up on early access), to operate and improve the product, to send you service-related communications (like a reminder before a trial converts, once billing exists), and to understand how the product is used so we can prioritize what to build next. We do not sell your personal information.

We use a small set of service providers to run Jabeco, each of whom processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting
• Vercel — application hosting
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Stripe — payment processing (once billing is live)
• PostHog — product analytics (once enabled)
• Anthropic — powers Jabeco's AI features (e.g. prioritization); your roadmap/backlog content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate those results

We don't share your information with anyone else except where required by law.

We keep your information for as long as it's needed for the purposes above — for example, an early-access email until you ask us to remove it, or account data for as long as your account is active plus a reasonable period after. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Section 6).

Jabeco uses essential cookies required for the site and product to function (e.g. keeping you signed in, and — while the site is in pre-launch preview mode — remembering that you've entered the preview password). Once analytics is enabled, we'll use additional cookies to understand product usage; we'll update this policy when that happens.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing matt@jabeco.app. We'll respond promptly — this is a small, founder-run product, not a queue.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including restricting database access via row-level security policies and never storing raw payment card details ourselves. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take this seriously.

We'll update this page as the product evolves (e.g. when billing or analytics go live) and update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated to anyone with an active account.
