Why is there no free plan?
Every plan runs real AI work on every roadmap, and that costs money per use. A free tier would mean capping the AI so hard it stops being useful, or funding it by pushing everyone toward an enterprise contract. A 30-day trial on the full product, with no card required, is a more honest way to let you evaluate it.
What does the 30-day trial include?
The whole product — Intelligence, our top tier — for 30 days, with no card required. Until you add a card, AI is limited to 150 credits a month and your team to 5 people; adding one unlocks the plan you choose, and you keep your remaining trial days. If the trial ends without a card, nothing is charged and nothing is deleted: your workspace stays, read-only, until you pick a plan.
What is an AI credit?
A credit is how AI work is measured, and its cost tracks what an action actually does. Prioritization costs 8 credits per batch of up to 25 backlog items, so scoring 200 items uses 64 — and Jabeco tells you the number before you run it, never after. Your allowance is per seat and shared across the workspace, so a 5-seat Pro team has 3,000 credits a month between them. Every AI feature states what it costs in the same credits.
What happens if we run out of AI credits?
AI features pause until the allowance resets at the start of the next month, and everything else in Jabeco keeps working. Unused credits don't roll over. No overage is ever billed and no surprise charge ever appears — if you need more, you upgrade or add seats deliberately. For scale, a seat's allowance scores 450 backlog items a month on Starter, 1,875 on Pro and 3,750 on Intelligence.
How does per-seat pricing work as we grow?
No plan caps how many people can join — you add seats as you need them and pay per seat. Moving between tiers changes what the product can do, never how many teammates you're allowed.
